DONNA PETROVICH (Liberal)
A local environment group in the marginal Federal seat of McEwen have expressed concerns about the Liberal candidate, Donna Petrovich.
The BEAM-Mitchell Environment Group, who have supported the nearby Cherry Tree Range wind farm proposal, are concerned by Petrovich’s track record of supporting polluting fossil fuels and opposing to clean and safe wind power while serving as a member of the Victorian parliament.

POLICY WATCH: GREENS LAUNCH RENEWABLE ENERGY PLAN TO ADDRESS KEY POLICY GAP
The Australian Greens have released the second tranche of its Clean Energy Roadmap. The plan addresses a critical gap in Australia’s energy policy architecture and would help drive the shift to 100 percent renewable energy.
The Clean Energy Roadmap deals with a key shortcoming of the Gillard Government’s carbon price–namely, the lack of support for enabling infrastructure.
