On Sunday 6 August, doctors, medical practitioners, students and concerned citizens will be conducting an action in Rundle Mall to mark the 61st anniversary of the atomic bombing of Hiroshima and draw attention to the continuing threat of nuclear weapons.

Australian Radiation Protection and Nuclear Safety Agency (ARPANSA) CEO John Loy will announce his intention to issue an operating licence for the new Lucas Heights nuclear reactor at 10.30am, Friday July 14.

More than 500 people have gathered outside the Eden chipmill this morning to call for it's closure.
People from across NSW and Victoria have joined to demand an end to native forest woodchipping and the closure the chipmill, which exports 840,000 tonnes of chips each year. No State Forest between Ulladulla in NSW and Bairnsdale in Victoria is safe while the chipmill continues to operate.
